I have been an administrative assistant for more than 30 years and a real estate agent for more than 20 years, holding various positions as a real estate agent, escrow agent, brokerage office manager, team leader, DISC profile trainer, and personal assistant. I am a remote transaction specialist and virtual legal assistant, having assisted more than 80 real estate agents and attorneys while working remotely for the last 9+ years. As a transaction specialist, my job is to assist you with freeing up your time to focus on new clients and to get you to the closing table. Many coordinators are only available after the contract has been executed, only through the closing of escrow, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. I AM NOT THE "MANY". I realize that real estate happens after 5pm during an evening showing tour. I appreciate buyers choosing a home on the weekend during our kids' soccer games or swim meets. I understand real estate happens and that you and I need to be ready when it does.
So, what do I do differently than the "many" other coordinators? Well...in short...if you have to touch a computer, that's pretty much my job. I assist with pre-listing and offer paperwork, MLS listings, photography & sign/lockbox installation, showing tours, flyers, CMA's, and other pre-listing and pre-offer tasks. I also assist with contracts to close, such as facilitation of paperwork and timelines, assisting the scheduling and coordination of inspections, reminders to clients about upcoming tasks that are due (home warranty purchase, utilities, insurance, payoffs, etc.), and COMPLIANCE - the 10-letter word no one likes to discuss.
How many more buyers, sellers, tenants, and/or landlords could you assist if you didn't have to chase paperwork or follow up on compliance issues? How many more leads could you contact if you weren't scheduling photographs, signs, or lockbox installations? How much more quality time could you have with your family, if you didn't have to sit down at a computer to run a CMA or prepare an offer?
